Notes on the paper by Hansen and Singleton "Generalized Instrumental Variable Estimator of Nonlinear Rational Expectation Models", Econometrica, 1982. Some concepts on Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) are discussed and an application of it to the estimation of the Euler equation in a rational model for consumption is presented.
